Administration of Medication

• It is the responsibility of parents to ensure their child is well enough to attend nursery.
• Where possible, parents are encouraged to administer medication at home.
• Nursery staff are able to administer some medication however; parents must complete a permission slip and visit the office on a daily basis to sign when their child last received a dose.
• Staff are only permitted to administer medications which are prescribed to the child by their GP or Pharmacist.
